Abstract:
This research aimed to carry out a comparative analysis of the evaluations developed by the National Archives and the Ministry of Economy on the Electronic Information System (SEI), according to the requirements of e-ARQ Brasil. For this, it was necessary to expose the theoretical framework based on the archival literature, describe the National Electronic Process (PEN) and its products, present a literature review on the Electronic Information System (SEI), and evaluate the SEI, according to the requirements of the e-ARQ Brasil, in order to compare the view of the National Archives with that of the Ministry of Economy, product of this work. The present study is based on a qualitative approach of an exploratory descriptive character, using bibliographic research, and the classic concepts and definitions of the archival area were addressed, as well as the theoretical framework of the InterPARES Project, of e-ARQ Brasil, as well as the Resolutions and Conarq (National Council of Archives) technical guidelines, National Archives documents, dictionaries and glossaries of archival terminology. Our research sought to compare the evaluations carried out by the National Archives and the Ministry of Economy, because despite having as reference the e-ARQ Brasil, we found that the evaluations carried out were discrepant in terms of considering whether the SEI is a SIGAD or not, and, according to our analysis, there is no total adherence to current legislation.
