Abstract:
This research proposes to reflect, under the prism of the principles of Archivistics,
the assertion that there is an intentionality of the holder in projecting an image of themselves
to the posterity when producing your people files. In the theoretical field, we review the
concepts, principles and delimitations of the archives of persons within Archivology, and,
within the empirical study, we analyzed files of people from three Brazilian women writers,
where we there is the application of the principle of original order aligned with other archival
instruments such as the arrangement chart and the history of the archive seeking to highlight
the organic and the archival context, refuting the idea of premeditation in the creation of
documents personal. And, finally, a research report where we present how the application of
the principle of the original order in institutions that have files of people in their collections.
