Resumen:
This work intends to present the research "The heritage education in archives and the use of cooperative games online. Monitoring and evaluation of the educational module of the site 'Slavery, abolition and post-abolition'" and the preliminary results obtained so far. The research analyzes the importance of heritage education in/from the archives, based on the initiative of the Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation, with the creation of an educational module on the site "Slavery, abolition and post-abolition", which makes available to the Its target audience cooperative online games, innovating in the forms of dissemination and new uses of documentary heritage, with the use of information technology. The monitoring and evaluation of the gaming module will determine the relevance or irrelevance of this type of initiative, pointing, if necessary, to the aspect(s) that need adjustments. In order to carry out the research, the numbers of the reports issued by Google Analytics, the managerial reports of the educational module itself and the results obtained from the workshops with the target audience were crossed. Preliminary results point to the validity of the initiative under the terms "Slavery, Abolition and Post-Abolition", with the need to complement the site with games that allow for more lasting enjoyment, deeper immersion experience and game/site programming for mobile devices.
