Abstract:
"This paper presents the results of the examination made in the CAPES Portal of Periodicals. In the survey, we used the search tool integrated using the keyword “museologia" and Museology, examined by area of expertise and from the bases indicated in each area to
search. The search for the words or terms intended to raise and analyze databases and journals identified by metabuscador of Portal because of their relevance and function of the number of scientific papers available for that specific area of knowledge. The investigation
covered the following topics search, listed by area basis, periodicals, number of publications, subject and year of the article. The article highlights the Portal as an important vehicle for scientific communication."
