Abstract:
The article presents a study on the profile of the collection of the Archive-Museum of Brazilian Literature from the House of Rui Barbosa Foundation (Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa). Through bibliographical and documentary research, the text examines its main features and the progress of some indicators used. Conclusions led to the urge for maintenance and improvement of the AMBL as a tool for encouraging the creation of collections and archives, for preservation and memory of the production of Brazilian Literature.
